C4E DT Card/Just Magnolia

Hi all I have been busy so there was hardly any post from me this week sorry about that. For this weeks challenge over at C4E it's another lovely sketch by Michele and theoption os to use as much embellishment as you want. Sorry about the picture quality, the settings on the camera was not the right one and I only realize it after I start editting the photo's. I am also entering this card for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge which is embossing, I have used copics, promarkers, flowers cuttle bug dies for embossing and a leave punch. I have uses K&Co papers and cut then at an angel to get the shape to form the background to the card and this lovely magnolia stamp that is one of my fav.

Card Combo

Now I have combined this card with 3 challenges, the first is The Just Magnolia Challenge which is paper piecing, the next is Friday sketchers the sketch is just nice and simple.

The other one is Cute Card Thursday is to have a Quotation on your card. I went with a floral pink and red with a little blue and I used this lovely old Magnolia stamp, stamped her on plain card and coloured her face, hands, stockings and inner blouse with copics then I stamp her again on decorative paper to get the dress and bow on her head. I also follow the sketch through to the inside, I have curled two corners of the smaller paper and I have included one of my own personal sentiment and as I look back on it now there is a spelling error "the" should have been a "that"
I have also used on this card a cuttlebug embossing folder, nesties circle plane and large scalloped octagons, coredination card and did a bit of sanding, gems, ribbon and flowers.

Happy Christmas

Well its Wednesday mid-week, the day is good and all is well. I am hoping to post my first blog candy before the week ends, so keep looking out. Now I know its not christmas but I am entering this card for the Just Christmas and Birthdays Blog Challenge. this will be my first entry. I know its not anytime near Christmas yet, but who says a girl can't start early (lol).

The sketch is just wonderful and I went with a little purple, blue and floral and its the first I am using my little cute companion mouse charactors on my blog. They were coloured in with Cosmic Shimmers and I used a little glitter as it is a christmas scene.

I used the kids for the inside of the card hope you like it.
