Crafty Sentiments Designs is now accepting applications for Guest Designers to work with our Design Team for the term of 6 months.

The requirements are: A commitment of 6 months (April 2014 - October 2014).

1. Card/ project each fortnight with your card uploaded to the personal blog the Saturday before the challenge is posted

Be able to take quality photographs of your cards/projects.

Must comment on participant’s cards on your assigned numbers, this is an absolute must.

Support your fellow team members.

Be able to promote Crafty Sentiments Designs products on your personal blog, forums and other groups you belong to, also you will need to be able to use our products in different challenges not only ours.

What you get:

1. A badge for your blog.

2. New releases to work with our products

3. Members discount for the website

4. The opportunity to showcase your work and for your cards to be featured on the website/newsletters.

5. Be apart of a fun and easy flow family of crafters and just have fun

TotallyPaperCrafts DT - Card

Hi all what is happening to me with my late post oh dear, never mind at least it is on the same day lol! The challenge over at TotallyPaperCrafts Challenge is Shaped Cards and I am hosting it.

Well I have used another one of the lovely releases from January  all available from the website HERE and I made my second easel box  card I am loving it. I ordered lots of lacey ribbon so what this space this is one of them and I added flat back pearls in the middle.

The usual copics for colouring the butterfly I punch with a Martha Stewart punch use some ranger sickle ice glitter glue  on the edges and crackle accent plus distress also around the edges with vintage photo

Late DT Post - AS You Like It Challenge

Hi everyone sorry for this late posting, been doing all sorts here and there, now have time to catch up with emails etc. My card for today is a shape card and the challenge over at AS YOU LIKE CHALLENGE BLOG is your Favourite Colouring Medium and WHY.

You know I love my copics so that is why I will say copics, the vibrant and rich colours that you get is fantastic. I have recently release some fantastic stamps from my Lollipop Dreams Collection so here I have used Just for fun, very cute indeed.

Added lots of flowers and my very favourite frantage embossing powder. Even though I have my own range of dies I love some other company dies too so these from Personal Impressions (Sweet Dixie) range of dies it's just fantastic.

Tottally Papercraft Challenge - DT Card

It's Friday and another fantastic challenge over at Totally Paper Crafts Challenge this week...Let's see your cards Make it  SHINE on it. I love Frantage did I ever told you that? I know I have lol, I have used it on my card today for my Shine as it has gold embossing bits in it. sorry about picture quality took these late last night.

To day I use one more of the lovely stamps from our February release this one is called 'Prom Dress' she is just a dream to colour in as well as cute. I also use Crafty Cutter flowers die and fancy tag as well as stamp a sentiments from the wedding set as it fits perfectly with this image.

I use copics as always, Derwent soft colour pencil red just to give  deep shadow on the skin. Frantage, mulberry flowers,  lace, paper doily, crinkled seam binding ribbon, K&Co papers as well as Maja designer papers.

As You Like IT - DT Card (3D Texture And Why)

Hi everyone, sorry for the no posting I am getting back to normal now and I have some exciting news coming soon, just waiting for one more thing before I can officially share it with you all.  Now this week's challenge over at As You Like It is  3D Textures and Why now  let see them.

I have used this lovely new rubber stamp from my shop she is called 'Meeting Friends' how cute is she? I coloured her up with copics and add a little Derwent soft pencil I love them the tips is more softer than the prisma pencil and the colours are much richer too.

As you know I am into shabby chic/vintage so my card is base on that style, I have used the summer doily  available HERE, flowers, ribbon, lace, maja designer papers, snow tex for texture.

The card stock bow  is a new product I am working on and it will be available on the website very soon called Easy Bow. I have added pearl to the bow. I have also used Frantage around the image.

As you Like it challenge - DT post

Hi everyone sorry I have been quite for a while, I had some sad news that took me by surprise so was not much for making anything. Well this card was meant to go up on Thursday but was not able to do so.

The challenge over at AS YOU LIKE IT CHALLENGE is show your style. I have no set style but I love soft colours and I am now into shabby chic.

This card was made sometime ago for a Create and Craft launch of  Here Comes The Girls CD Rom a collaboration between Crafty Sentiments Designs  and Creative Crafting World. Well getting ready for work.

Teddy Jack and fluff

Hi everyone I am here again with another distress marker/ink card I am loving this way of card making lol! This stamp  image is called Teddy Jack and fluff and they are easy to colour with any medium.

As always there is lots of flowers and again that xcut butterfly nested die came in handy, there is wooden letters, crochet flowers etc

Here is a close up of the images, look how hugh that flowers is just wonderful

If you have been thinking of using your distress inks then why not have ago and surprise yourselves.

Well it's 2014 and I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, for sometime I wanted to have ago properly at using distress inks, When ranger brought out a few years ago I got all the markers and collected most of the re-inkers but never got into it.

I am a lover of all things Vintage and Shabby Chic,  few days ago I said I will have another ago and I am really pleased with the results, so as it's a New Year I will be all shabby chic and vintaged up lol. I used for the card Teenage Fashion from my last year summer collection and the lovely banner die from my Crafty Cutter range of metal dies.

I used lots and lots of flowers on this card, the little butterfly I  is the Xcut nested butterfly dies and use the very smallest one to cut out some Maja Design papers.  Go Kreate shape die for the base of my card, ribbons and  Frantage. I use distress markers and re-inker to colour her in on Canson watercolour paper.
